Program: Betsy Norman will present the workshop Make a Scene: The Elements of Scene and Sequel.

Using the combined techniques of Jack Bickham (Scene & Structure, Writer’s Digest Books) and Carolyn Greene aka "The Plot Doctor," learn how to use scene cards to focus your scenes and create the mini goals and obstacles that propel your plot forward and keep your reader turning the pages. Interactive brainstorming workshop. Bring along a scene from your WIP – or we'll make one up! – and use the cards to give an example on how to Make A Scene!

After the meeting, everyone is welcome to have lunch at PF Chang's. If you're in another chapter, this would be a great time of year to drive down, enjoy good conversation and participate in a fun program.
