*Donna Kowalczyk received First Place in the Reveal Your Inner Vixen Contest for her Series Contemporary!
*Lorrie Kruse's manuscript, "My book, A Life Worth Living," received Second place in Reveal Your Inner Vixen, Third place in Golden Rose, and Third place in Arizona Author's Association, which comes with getting the first chapter published in the 2006 Fall issue of Arizona Literary Magazine.
This manuscript has also finaled in the Labor of Love Contest.
*Brenda Nelson-Davis story, “Elena and the Worries,” won First Place in the Juvenile Short Story Category for the Wisconsin Regional Writers Association’s “2006 Jade Ring Contest.” A scene from her,”Spit at the Moon,” took third place in the OVRWA Summer Sizzle Contest. The beginning chapters of “Undo the Night” are in the final round of Mid-America Romance Authors’ “2006 Fiction from the Heartland Contest,” in the Paranormal Category.
